Holiday Inn SJC 408-435-6300. Ask for Merill in sales.

She's the one who approves airlines rates - don't ask me why the front desk can't. I've used them several times and always had to go to Merrill for the discounted rate.

That place provides an authentic-appearing waitstaff. I thought I was on a Goodfellas set! I recommend the lounge instead of the main dining room, if you want a peaceful meal. The place is popular with families and the dining room can be loud (not obnoxious, just boisterous).
