Moose's Tooth: Don't forget the Beer....best BEER in Alaksa too (they brew their own).

F-Street: A few too many leather jackets and airplane stories for me, but if that's your thing.... :)

Gwennies: The Reindeer sausage breakfast was one of my favorites, although it's not as clean as it used to be. But, if you stay at the Regal or whatever they call it now, it's a quick walk.

Great review....and spot on!

You left a good one out,

You're right! Food is just OK, but ABC makes up for in other ways.

Kill Bill 08-08-2005 05:34 PM

you guys are naughty! that said, i think the ABC is probably the cleanest and nicest establishment of that type i've ever seen.

i like the F Street Station, especially the free cheese and crackers while you wait for dinner...

the glacier brewhouse is fabulous for beer and desserts (peanut butter pie!) and the seafood chowder is wonderful.

don't forget the white spot for a little abuse with your breakfast... and say HI to sherrie for me! make sure you order a full stack of pancakes since they're quite small... :)

F street can't be beat in if colder than well digger's ass and your only crawling back to the Sheraton!!

I can't believe I forgot this one:

If you stay downtown, breakfast at the Snow City Cafe is the best. They're on 4th at the corner of I St. (I think!). Just across from Simon's & Seaforts which was a great place to eat when airline pay was actually decent - or still is if your wife works.

Sno City Cafe for breakfast. Around the corner from the Capt. Cook.

ANC breakfast

Snow City by all means! Try the smoked salmon scramble or the "crabby omelette", with sourdough toast of course. :)

My late momma always said that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach. :) The way the posts are, you'd think Anchorage has nothing else to offer but restaurants and food!

btw, who is Kill Bill? Where has he gone? [Sorry, thread drift].
