Delta Employee pilot pathway program
 

Just recently came out on Delta Net.

What does everyone think about this? I realize Endeavor pilots are not Delta employees but does it now seem like non-pilot Delta employees are going to have a better path to becoming Delta pilots than the people currently flying Delta customers for Endeavor?

I have no problem with it, one of the issues with Delta was they never really had a pathway for current employees to get a job as a pilot. Every company should do this for their own employees.

I'm totally gonna apply to be a ramper now.

Could I work there part time in order to keep my date of hire when I transitioned? It sucks to work for years at Endeavor and loose all that sweet seniority if you're lucky enough to get hired at Delta.

Basically, they put the value of 2 years as a captain here, equal to 5 years of throwing bags and having 100 hours in uncle bobs flying school 152s

I know, but how many rampers have a college degree?

Education is the number one thing with Delta.
