Delta is not going to ink a 5+ year deal with TSH without assurances, thus they would have already canceled the order, which is why we see that the rumors are intensifying on getting their flying.
Skywest is different because they have some leverage with the gate situation. There might be a carve out for them to operate for Alaska, I doubt it, but not a chance for TSH. |

Just a hunch, but if you’re going to be buying another airline maybe all you need to hire is for
Attrition??? |

That's only because Alaska has the worst scope contract ever written, ever. |

OO management has made it very clear they are no longer in the MRJ game. They hold the paper for orders to collect penalty’s from MRJ. Also all Ejet orders are covertable from the E2 to the regular E175 (this has already happened) .. read you think uou could have a E175 program up and running in. 6 months. I would say a year. QX took a year and OO handed over tons of stuff to help them...

I believe that they can operate the MRJ90 for Alaska with 81 seats, on a separate certificate, only on flights where Delta, or its affiliates do not operate a city pair. That's the only very narrow exception. Only MRJ90/175E2 fit that exception, anything bigger is prohibited.
That's only because Alaska has the worst scope contract ever written, ever. For the second, Alaska doesn't actually have any scope. Horizon could fly 737s and not violate anything from my understanding. Years ago I asked a few crews about scope and they responded that it wasn't worth negotiating for. Many of them feel differently now. |

Then again, I’m hearing rumors that EJets are slated to come on sooner than expected. My contact at C Tower has since moved along to Daddy Delta, so my sources are slim. Can anyone else confirm a renewed plan to accelerate our 175 cert? |
