Hey folks,

Looking for some non-rev advice about ZED Fares and such. I have non-revved on Delta for years, but I am about to do some travel in Europe where ZED may come in handy. If anyone is willing to share their experience and let me pick their brain, please PM me so we can start an email conversation.

It's pretty simple, pay the money, if you don't end up on the plane for whatever reason you put in for a refund. Should be in your account within a few days. In my experience, don't trust the smiley faces. Just have a couple options and start trying. I've gotten on a red face no problem with Lufthansa before.

As long as it's not paper ZED, I had to do a paper ZED on Cape Air SJU-STT one time and it was a pain in the rear. I mean, they had plenty of frequency so I made a flight but it took more than an hour to get DL to sell me the paper and then have Cape issue the boarding document. Anything through ID90 is straightforward and simple enough.
