Are you commuting? Living in base? Your first award will probably be NYC.

pretty much anywhere i go i'll be commuting, but i won't be more than a 2 hour drive away from any base. So i'm not really worried about commuting to much. I would like to bid a base/type that would give me the best chance of getting P2 reserve as soon as possible

Damn that’s a fast car you have there!

Bid what you want. You’ll get New York. Where between New York and Atlanta is it 2 hours from both of those cities? Also you’ll get p2 faster in New York

Probably either has a place to stay in either place or plans on moving closer.

When you interview at four places and get told no, then grab on to the sinking ship of Compass I’d give a **** about other stuff than APC too. Like what other four places you can interview at before you get your next job once Compass gets cut

Actually, DTW is very obtainable on both the 200 and 900 on the fo side. If not initially given the base it should be easily obtained by the end of IOE. Same goes for ATL on the 200 side. You can expect that within the training window. Bid for what you want, although bid everything 200 first if you want ATL asap and bid for everything 900 first if you want MSP.

If you really want MSP, SkyWest is hiring.... It's 20+ years for captain lines at Endeavaor..... No major is that bad for a lineholding base (not talking holding out for some slim widebody allotment that has plenty of other options)
.

Yes but on the FO side it was more junior than NYC in May as far as getting a line... that is changing with the 200 guys wrapping up their 900 differences but it’s still possible to hold MSP within a few months.CA side... forget it.

I don't think CP is a bottom feeder, I do think TSH isn't doing a great job with it. I haven't met too many lifers at CP, I think most of those well qualified candidates flowed through to DAL or went elsewhere... CP is still a relatively young airline.
