DAL jumpseat on 9E
 

I tried searching but couldn't find the answer.

What is the policy for DAL jumpseating on 9E?

I know we can't reserve in advance like we can with our own metal. I've been told that we can get seat request from a gate agent starting 6 hours prior to departure time, but we could always get bumped by a 9E pilot.

Is there a timeframe for the 9E pilot to show and claim the seat? 1hr prior? 30 prior? All the way until the door actually closes?

As for all non 9E pilots (DAL and OAL), is the seat request first come/first serve?

Same rules as mainline, 9E can come and bump you up until 15 prior.

Order of 9E jumpseat goes:
9E eligble employees
Delta
DCI
OAL

So Delta has prioity before any regional/OAL
