You’re gonna need more than an associates for the DGI

A bachelor degree is the minimum for this "deal"... I'd just focus on better options than the DGI, they are out there.

I'm not, the reason i'm asking is to see if it is worth it to me to get my Bachelors degree. I'll be 55 before I would be working at Endeavor or another airline. If it is going to be 7-8 years before I get the DGI, it may not be worth it to me to get the degree.

What are the recent qualifications of the new hires at Endeavor?

My Experience:
BS Aeronautical Science from ERAU DB
CRJ200 CRM course at ERAU
Airplane CMEL/CSEL
Military RW
1300ish TT with majority of the time in the AH-64. 430hrs Combat time if that counts for anything.

I am short on some of the 250hrs FW PIC to meet the requirement for R-ATP. Im curious if Endeavor hires many military RW pilots since they dont have an RTP. Im already working on finishing up the remainder FW time.

Thanks in advance.

Unrelated to the question, but how much did the VA cover of your tuition at Embry Riddle? I know their program as of 2018 was over $200,000, do they pay it all no questions asked?

I was under the old chapter 30 GI Bill as a reservist. It was just enough to cover my living expenses. I also had a few scholarships and still left with a large loan debt.

The new Chapter 33 and even the more updated Chapter 30 seem to be far more useful these days.

ERAU is a private school so tuition is covered through the Gi bill and yellow ribbon. Flight costs are billed separately to you and covered by you as well.

At a public school, tuition and flight is covered up to FAA minimums. A 1.0 required lesson can turn to 1.5 real quick and that is on you to pay the difference. Generally speaking, yellow ribbon doesn't really pitch in for public schools.
