Default Marriott union strike

So please reference my screen name, I might have no idea what I'm talking about, but I read an article that the marriott hotel worker's union might strike. I've also heard stories of when a union goes on strike, it's commonplace for other unions to support that union any way they reasonably can.

If the Marriott workers go on strike, would we, as a union, get behind them and refuse to stay at marriott properties?

I highly doubt it.

Airport workers strike all the time and ALPA does nothing.

You wouldn’t have to respect a picket line unless ALPA told us to, which is extremely unlikely.

They are on their own, just like we were in years prior. They'll be ok or they won't. Im sure they'd welcome you on your day off, go picket with them.
