Ask them about the rest of the patterns, I've been through the furlough approach before, it didn't start like it is at EDV right now.
And I'm not trying to threaten you. I am not in management or even at EDV anymore. I'm honestly trying to help you from more than a decade of experience in the industry. This really has happened to people and you have made yourself the most outspokenly negative person about EDV on this forum. It draws a lot of attention. If the idea that it's a threat is all you take from it than I leave to you your own devices.

Today it was announced that growth plans which were originally planned for late this year, and delayed until early 2019, are now delayed until late 2019 at the earliest. This comes with no explanation from our management team or Delta.
It was also announced that current pilots are being offered time off without pay. This is the first step before furloughs.
Keep in mind we are already extremely fat on pilots. You will sit reserve for over a year (and increasing) with little to no flying. You will not consolidate your ATP if you are first time 121. You will be commuting to NYC to do nothing but sit in a crashpad.
Unless you live in NYC and don’t care about not flying, do NOT come here.
The company kool aid drinkers will be out in this thread saying how everything is fine but it’s simply not true. There are other regionals out there that will get you flying and regionals such as Skywest and Republic that are actually seeing growth unlike Endeavor.

The big issue for you is that more senior FO's are trying to get their time in, same as you. This is due to the FAR changes, it wasn't like this in the past. They will be a lot less likely to furlough, because 121 time is a commodity these days at the regionals.

You don’t represent the pilot corps at Endeavor. You’ve spent almost no time at this company. Sounds to me like you’ve made a mistake, you understood that for all it’s incentives that 9E would take you to New York. You’ve gotten everything you expected from this company except growth that was merely a rumor that started this summer. Growth isn’t off the table, it’s just not coming this year. So what I see here is a RSV pilot who knew what he was getting into and didn’t get the rumored growth he needed to get off RSV. 9Es held up its end of the bargain, stop whining and do your job. Welcome to NY.

Secondly thats the question I'd like everyone to think about. I think everyone likes RE and TW, but how often are they gonna come spin up new hires with 175s, then 700s, then 175s again, now 700s again before you all stop getting excited.

No, TOWP lines while hiring continues is NOT even remotely a sign of a furlough. It is a sign of the company trying to get really fat for something coming up. If they were prepping for a furlough they'd stop new hire classes first and THEN offer TOWP lines and THEN volunteer long term LOAs and THEN it'd be a sign that furlough could come (and even then it's not a guarantee).
You talk like you have been around so long, and then "just getting started" as well. You are a probationary pilot publicly trying to discourage prospective employees, if you continue this trend this will be the least of your worries. You've probably narrowed down who you are to quite a small sliver of the pilot group by now (less than a year, mid pack on reserve in NYC, bidding first out etc).
I am trying to say this in the nicest way. You are not nearly as anonymous on this forum as you think, pilots have been confronted with posts from social media and this forum in job interviews. You do NOT want to go to a mainline interview and have them ask what they should expect when you were advocating against a prior employer like this, especially while you were on probation. In this case you not only were doing that, but you actually started a thread actually TITLED that. The company monitors these forums and the only thing worse than my scenario above for you would be is if they identify you and decide having you on property is more trouble than it's worth.
I honestly expect you are probably a good pilot to fly with and possibly even able to be happy enough on a trip to make for an enjoyable trip. Please do not torpedo your career because you don't like a company that is staffing reserves like a mainline carrier does.

It's sensationalist nonsense that is not providing ANY factual information about the situation and only serves to make matters worse.
FollowCompanyRJ: sorry bud. You got the unlucky draw with your hiring date. That's not your fault or the companies. Just because TW ran his mouth in new hire ground school and recurrent (if you've even been here a year yet) does not mean what he says is going to happen. Talk is cheap and TW LOVES to put his two cents in. If YOU believe anything management has said outside of official emails then you are the sucker. Not anyone else.
TW came to my new hire class and said E175's from Republic was a done deal. That was 4 YEARS AGO! You knew what you were getting into when you signed on the dotted line. If you didn't do your research and blindly walked into the highest paying regional airline with hopes that everything is rainbows and sunshine over here then you screwed up.

Firstly, thats management fluff. When the clipboard is in your hand at the gate the planes are coming.
