Default Class dates being pushed back

So in another thread someone posted about being called and having their class date pushed back. Anyone else experience this? Anyone know what the schedule of classes is for the next few months as we “continue to hire?” Is it a class of 15 once a month or what?

FWIW this happened last spring. People being told 6 Monthes etc. then they started calling people saying they could be in class in 2 weeks if they wanted. Just prepare for another training department log jam. A lot of people with Cjo will probably bail for somewhere they can start immediately. I’ve heard republic is also having similar issues as us.

Not according to my paycheck...I'm not one to whip out my pay stub and get into a swords match, but I'm doing just fine while I wait for my phone to ring.

To those who are in a hiring holding pattern, hang in there. I'm hearing growth in second half of 2019, so full-on hiring should start back up late summer. We're a bit heavy staffing-wise right now, the ship ain't broke, nothing to fix...just taking the foot off the gas pedal a bit.

Sorry if I wasn't clear. I was just saying the better regionals like Endeavor and Republic are doing fine attracting pilots, where as the less desirable ones like Mesa and Gojet are struggling.

No worries, just really no reason to post that in this particular thread without articulating your intent in your previous post. I'm not a fan of folks who stir the pot for the sake of stirring. But, then again, I need to remember where I'm at...

I'm taking a pretty nice pay cut going over there. Well at least for the first year. Might break even 2nd year.

I stopped paying SS tax on my paychecks when i went past 128k, and that's a nice little raise on takehome pay. So will a lot of captains here and a small percentage of FOs. If this is too big a leap down you shouldn't come. This ride will end someday, and paycuts will come back, and people like you are intolerable to be around when we're all just trying to get by.

With that said, hopefully I'll be gone by then and you can tell everyone here how much you gave up to come grace them with your presence.
