Well yeah I agree with you... recruiters told me growth will come around summer therefore they need to fill the September classes

If we were trying to trim some fat we would simply stop hiring for a while to allow attrition to naturally shrink us back up. That’s not happening. Plan for growth in Q3/Q4.

You'd think that with the overabundance of FOs there currently are that they would've already stopped hiring. February class last time I heard was only 5 people.

I think we all agree thats the plan management is working with, however, it seems like weve been swinging and missing a couple yrs now so not sure we should plan for anything.

They are only hiring those STEP college kids who have been engaged with Endeavor for many many months going on years. Pushing their class dates back would permanently hurt recruitment.

As another data point:

I finished OE Jan 2nd. Since then, I've flown about 25 hours. On the other hand, it looks like I might be able to start LCR in March, *if* the mock bid is accurate. This will ease the burden of the NYC commute, as i live 30 minutes from DTW, until I can hold DTW.

For someone that wants a lot of hours quickly and in the next few months, it's not great. That said, I've been having a blast at the company, and it's very little work for great pay. I have no complaints. If I had to do it all again, I'd still come here.

Hoping some reservists can update this thread with how many hours they’ve been flying in recent months. Looks like 15-30 was the norm last winter.

ATL 900 CA bidding first out. September I flew 20 hours and like 10 of that was a pickup. It has not got much better. Yet.
