The hits keep coming
Now back to 15% LCR and if you quit and go to DL, and don't make it, paying for your own hotel and expenses, you're out on your ***! Are they trying to get people to quit or not come to EDV anymore? All the things that were attractive are slowly eroding away. 15% more that will need a crashpad in expensive NYC and don't forget, no more van! I'm already at 46$ for the month. Bidding LCR but there goes that.
What is happening at EDV??? Growth, well, you better hope you have people to do it because EDV is starting to not be the place to be anymore. The company keeps failing to get agreements with the union, thought they were friends, and we are paying the price. Sad as again we are being kicked in the teeth by our management.

EDIT: The union has not walked away from the table on either issue. They continue to negotiate.

Actually both issues are the result of the 9E Union doing their job and holding the company to the terms of the CBA. It's walk-away-from-the-table tough love, but I believe our MEC has chosen the correct path on both items.

The thread title needs more drama, is all.

Ok well the 15% long call was tied with the Dynamic Scheduling LOA and if you ever read that email it said it was a trial run for 6 months and could be taken away.
I will agree the union and management have a very poor relationship right now. I don't know who is to blame for that but the only change I noticed was a new CEO and he seems to be doing a pretty terrible job in my eyes. I barely even know the guys name, he is a terrible communicator and to me it seems all he is doing is cutting cost and not giving a crap about us, give us Bill back!!
Now even with this said I still don't think this is a bad place to work. We have very little problems compared to other regionals.

The “Jeep” thing seems like a good compromise. Adds flair, keeps the original title pretty similar.

I miss Bill. New guy is not near the leader Bill is.

And it's amazing to me that people are complaining about receiving what is literally free money to pay for their transportation to work, which was offered in response to people complaining about the free shuttle service...
So for the last 1.5 weeks you've paid $46 for your personal transportation to your job? WHAT AN OUTRAGE!!!! Oh, wait. That transport was all company provided.

Why on Earth are you whining? Nothing has changed regarding the DGI, the air is just more clear now. And the 30% LCR was tied to the dynamic scheduling trial. Now the trial is over. Without an extension the company loses dynamic scheduling and we lose 30% LCR, as agreed.
