PSA New Pay Rate

Plus, half their pilots are on reserve, and their reserve is longer than ours.
Plus, they involuntarily upgrade into outstation bases.
Plus, by the time that you'd flow there, you already should be a year five employee at your next employer.
Someone else put it nicely in a different thread. Unless you've run over a small child while drunk, an AA WO probably isn't your best bet.

$19,000 bonus paid over two years , minus our 10k gives them extra 9k bonus over two years approx $5/hr at guarantee puts them pretty close to on par for the first two years and most likely upgrade within two year and Capt pay very close. Fair to say it's pretty close to the same pay unless you are an FO for more than 2 years. Plus a guaranteed job at American. No brainier.

We have guys at 5 years flowing now. I’ve been here for just under 2.5 and I’m projected to flow in about 4.2 assuming no further change from the 10/month flow rate we have now.
Flow for someone coming in property now is probably closer to 8 years. Except for the guys/gals who are within a year or two to flow, most folks here are doing their best to get hired outside of the flow. Flow is an insurance policy (that of course AAG could always take away, but with having the most retirements out of the Legacies I doubt it will happen). We’ve had a handful of folks get on with Delta and FedEx lately.
I’ve got a lot of friends over there at 9E. Y’all definitely set the bar for the industry. I still think y’all have better soft pay and overall work rules. But now that pay has been raised here and once you do become a line holder with SAP, life isn’t so bad here anymore.
I tip my hat to your pilot group for leading the charge.
