Favorite/Least Destination
 

Hey all, sorry to bother you all. Just curious what is your favorite destination and least favorite. Was wondering if it could possibly be the station that I work at. If so, hopefully I can talk to you all.

Least is a tie between Charlotte and Shreveport.


Favorite would be Montreal when we had the Marriott, or JAX.

Favorite? BVT, JAX, TVC.

Least favorite? EVV, & anything in Canada. I hate going through customs.

Evv is good if you got the long stay at the casino. Besides that though I agree.

TYS feels like home, mostly thanks to the hotel staff. BTR is pretty solid (nice gym, plenty around). ROA downtown is nice. GNV is nice if you can get something other than 10-12 hours there. I don't mind OAJ except for the long van ride. TUL is also really nice but I haven't seen it in a while. I'll second BTV, the hotel is nice. HPN is nice. EYW is nice too if you can get a longer one.

EVV and TRI are probably the worst. MLI was tolerable until the hotel turned into a dump. Now the van is dangerous and there are homeless people in the halls and elevators (please write it up! :o). BMI hotel is terrible but there is a lot to do around it. YUL was nice until they switched the hotel and now unless you like looking at a rail yard or shopping/eating at IKEA its a dump also. XNA is also not a fun one. CVG can be pretty terrible depending on which hotel.

That's a run down of ATL 900 flying for the most part.

SHV definitely the worst. No question.

GNV is hands down my favorite. JAX is a solid overnight. BTV because church street is walkable if your up for a little bit a walk. TYS is good. We don’t do a whole lot but SDF is awesome when we get them. CVG is ok if you get certain hotels over others.

The middle of the roads, BTR, MEM, ROC, BOS ( the morning van driver is crazy, he openly talks about how he gets pulled over all the time), GSP, HPN is only decent because of the room quality, other than that you’re in the middle of nowhere. Same goes for SAV.


Unpopular opinion. YUL Marriott stinks, YYZ is better.
SHV is awful. IND is also equally bad. I think we are finally out of the bed bug palace but at another isolated hotel in the middle of a warehouse park.


Most of our longs are really good. That’s for 20+ hours.

They just changed the hotel. New one is downtown. Sounds promising.

DSM is awesome if you end up downtown. It's okay if you end up in Clive.

BTV for sure.

People either love or hate the hotel in LEX. I'm a fan... there's lots nearby if you look, and the walk downtown isn't too much longer than BTV's walk.

Haters gonna hate, but CVG overnights aren't bad. The hotels near the airport treat us well. The hotels in Covington have plenty to do nearby.

BUF has always been a terrible overnight, but the nasty jacuzzi palace that we stay in now makes it even worse.

MBS is the pits.

Still pretty ghetto around the hotel, but way better than the old one. But you can walk to some of the casinos and the shuttle will take you to the other side of the river where there are more casinos and lots of shopping.
