I was deadheading on a DL flight today. Great looking DL cockpit crew at the gate, Gray haired Captain reading the dispatch release. Young FO with a trim haircut. Nice hats and fully buttoned double-breasted blazers. They were both sipping on their Starbucks while chatting with the GAs and FAs.

Not a single announcement was made by either great looking pilot, explaining the boarding delay, since they were waiting for the aircraft to be towed up.

Best pilots, maybe. Delta material? Not sure from what we're being taught....just sayin.....

I agree with you 100%... too bad they don’t see our angle.

I am trying to spread this as well. The grass is so much greener. IMO, every single person over 1000 jet time should be applying to all majors. Take the jump. They are hiring like crazy. Any major airline is better than all regionals IMO. FOs are getting scooped up like crazy. BTW, where are the 9E November Attrition numbers? Too early? There were two classes recently at 9E with 5 and 7 FOs in it.

The application pool is becoming almost all Propel, which is what I feared would happen.

He doesn't. I didn't wanna be the one to pop his bubble.

He's right about the searching for a word, just doesn't have the vocabulary yet.

It's like when people were calling Gojets scabs. Wrong word, but yes what they did was wrong and they are bad people for showing up to do it to tsa.

To be fair. They're a fairly young pilot group and I doubt 50% of the company was around when that all went down. And 25% probably wouldn't even know what you were talking about
