I've been asking FO's on my trips. Several are waiting on class dates at JetBlue. They say they don't want to wait 4 yrs for a coin flip at their DGI. By then they'll be making $150k as an FO on the Airbus at JetBlue. Captain upgrade at 5-7yrs making $250k. It's a no brainer and JetBlue is taking our FO's with no turbine PIC time.

I was one that left. Wasn’t going to wait around for a coin flip. I’ll take my chances off the street. Get out of the regionals ASAP.

I understand the Captain will be going to the majors but I'm interested in knowing where the FOs are going. Is it lateral moves or LCC? And for those who do leave, why not wait a few more years and upgrade to get to a major rather than go to a LCC? Just curious to the reasoning
I chose Spirit. Contractual 75% green days, you can drop to zero if you want, guaranteed 4 days off between trips, decent pay, lots of soft pay, and the most junior awarded CA is at 2 years four months. 100 firm airplanes on order on top of the 40+ we have already on its way. Geez I sound like a recruiter now. lol.

By the way, I think those going in for interviews now will have a much higher chance of getting it given the record or near record amounts that D is going to hire. $0.02

I would honestly expect DGI pass rates to not improve at all and just stay the same. I know 15+ Endeavor pilots getting OTS calls from Delta. I think Delta is still gonna pick who they want.

With Delta being the #1 premiere airline to work for, I highly doubt they will have to resort to the DGI to fill seats. Keep in mind they also have to keep 9E staffed.

Hey , it could be worse and you could be stuck here and sentenced to 26 years here like me 🤪🤪

I think some people just figure might as well go somewhere that your appreciated . We fly Delta jets and Delta passengers and are paid by Delta and fly their passengers and don’t exist without them , but yet are looked down upon and not appreciated . Sooner or later Mother D will realize how valuable it will be to keep pilots at Endeavor and utilize them for “mainline” eventually , even though we are mainline anyway , LOL.
