It is kind of a slippery slope of Moral and Ethical Values. I understand Endeavor does not make profits or losses. But that is because Endeavor is part of Delta and we do not exist without them . If there is no Delta , then Endeavor has no planes and no passengers and we don’t get paid . We have nothing without Delta . Delta Airlines consists of Delta/Endeavor employees and all the airplanes , from the CRJ 200 to the 777 ,plus the refinery. The profit sharing pot this year is 1.6 Billion . Endeavor people work alongside Delta people to Take care of the Delta passengers , in every capacity . So the 1.6 Billion in profit sharing From “Delta” , which includes “Endeavor” , should be distributed appropriately. Out of the 1.6 Billion , Endeavor’s portion would be roughly 3 percent , or 48 million dollars . There is about 7000 “Endeavor”folks working for Delta. If it is based on percentage of Salary ,then as a 26 year guy , I would get about 10 grand . If the Endeavor folks split the 48 million equally , it would be around 6800 bucks each . Hell of a lot more than we are getting now and it would go a long way to rewarding our part of the Delta machine and motivate us to enhance the brand . I mean 48 million subtracted from 1.6 Billion is such a microscopic amount , that all “mainline” people might lose a nickel from “their” profit sharing check . I mean , in the words of Booger McFarland from ESPN , “C’MON Man” !!! . Even the Big man upstairs is like , “Really”’, that’s pretty pathetic .

The regionals are no longer a means to service small communities that can't support mainline. It's class warfare with mainline.
"You guys already have the exact same material qualifications, more experience and actually do the job. But we're going to hire this rando with no experience because you're not good enough."
It reminds me of civil rights discrimination in the 60's.

No, not even close. There are issues with the mainline-regional model, but to compare those issues with the civil rights movement in the United States is, at best, ignorant regarding the history of that movement.
Hiring a military pilot because the airline prefers their qualifications may not be considered fair by all, but the it’s not true that the military pilot has no experience. Propel candidates have to work at a regional as well—people get hired out of regionals by majors with 1000 121 hrs independent of the propel program. I’m not defending the “fairness” of it, but equating mainline hiring practices with civil rights discrimination is not accurate or helpful. We may not get paid as much per-passenger to fly a CRJ than a mainline guy does to fly a 717, but the National Guard has never been mobilized to escort us to work.

Its not based on anything meaningful. Negotiate it to be based on pretax profit of whatever mainline corp entity you belong to or ur own books as a multi line except. Then its actually meaningful. I dont think you should be going after PS, go after something youll use right away, because PS is gonna be a drawn out fight you may not win.

The regionals are a simple but very successful method by your management to divide and conquer. Mainline pilots do not want regional pilots stapled on their seniority list because they see them as not worthy (to maineline pilots own detriment) however by having seperate regional pilot group (see class) management gets the Bscale they always wanted. They will continue to use this method because human nature will not let the Maineline pilot to agree to ending the regionals which would mean most regional pilots would then be the airline’s pilots. If for instance Doug Parker or Stephen Wolf(back in the day) came to mainline and offered to give 100% scope to mainline in a compromise the pilot group would give 4 years of regional pay scales stapled to the bottom the mainline group would never accept it.
