- if you commute to NYC, a lot (all?) of Delta’s CVG-NYC flights are on our metal. Makes commuting easier than on Delta mainline to ATL
- Hotels are obviously much cheaper in ATL, but ATL also has hotel-run crashpad setups that can be better than some of the crashpad scenarios so frequently lamented in nyc
- The 200 in NYC is more junior than ATL 200. Don’t have the time right now to look up junior lineholders.
Have you considered DTW? Also our metal, cheap crashpads. Once you have a line, you could drive that. Also as Jules said, hopefully you could bid over to the 900 CVG relatively quickly. Not sure exactly how seat locks will be handled in the upcoming vacancies.

Disclaimer, I have never commuted from CVG. Just some infrequent non-revving. That said, from a general standpoint:

The FO seat lock will only be waived when contractually REQUIRED to be waived. Contractually it must be waived to allow any FO (who was hired previous to the CVG base being available to bid) to be able to bid for a new base option that is only available on another aircraft. Anyone hired today on the 200 will be able to bid for the 900 in CVG in 18 months.
