Hats with orange lanyards?
What does this mean? Who are you? What is your stance?

I thought about asking the guy wearing orange lanyard, hat, and a zip down sweater opened up strolling down the concourse what his stance was. Figured he just likes chaos.

Check airmen were required to wear the hat, but I think they changed that. Everyone else, no excuse.

Hat with orange lanyard.... We are our own worst enemies. Yes it’s just a stupid looking hat, but it’s what it represents. The company wants us to wear it because it forwards “the Delta Air Lines” brand. Yet we aren’t Delta pilots. The union has asked us to in unity wear the orange lanyard and leave the hats at home. It’s really not a difficult concept.

I had a Delta mainline captain look me in the eyes and call me a 4-letter word in the terminal once. In public. And no, I didn’t do a single thing to deserve it other than dare to tread down his concourse.
Wear a hat, wear a lanyard, wear both, wear none, I don’t care, but NEVER trick yourself into actually believing that you’re “one of them.” |

I've been commuting for 2 years. The worst interaction I've had from mainline was "Who is Endeavor?". All things considered, it hasn't been bad. I had a Delta guy take the FA jumpseat to get me home. I had a mainline guy show up in sandals and socks for the jumpseat, but the CA let him on.
