So given the track record of DGI, SSP, ETD should I assume that day 2 has an over 99% rate given the strategic wording of the FOU?

Or should I be more realistic given the history?

Is it entirely possible that Delta/Endeavor could have just been more transparent with the total results!?

How dare I not assume sunshine and candy all around!

How dare we consider that Delta’s hiring process be transparent!

Your turn, tell me more about my ignorance.

Yea it's just weird the way they worded it in the Flight ops update. They went out of their way to point out that success rates were based on day one cjo's and didn't include those who failed to get through day two. Weird to point that out if it's 99% successful

CJO being issued after completion of day 1, is the standard system for all Delta hiring including OTS, yes or no? If yes, there's nothing duplicitous or "weird" about the FOU calling it that. And our CJO rate going up from 50% to 75% is amazing news, if it stays here and is not a spike in the noise.

It's still a small sample size. Who knows if this will continue.

I think it will stay up there, the last group was 20 for 20, which never happened under the old programs. Also, I'm convinced the former hiring management was rejecting pilots, even those who passed the interview, strictly for exclusivity purposes.

Ok, if you insist. Considering the OTS success rates are ALSO day one, and that is how Delta has always done it, and you don't even have any evidence to the contrary NOR have you come up with anyone who has failed day two you are coming across as someone who isn't happy unless everything is horrible.

This isn't being "more realistic" this is simply not accepting positive outcomes.

Actual pass rates when you factor in Day 2 is as follows. Jan was 17 out of 24 70%. Feb was 15 out of 20 75%. Thats based off the numbers they show are waiting on a class date. Still better then the success rate in the past, but not as good as the day 1 pass rate suggests.

This has nothing to do with Deltas pilot selection team. They have been nothing but great to the pilots in the pools and while I was at the interview.

Being held up by the shrink on day 2 is not yet a no.

True. I know of at least 2 rejected by the PARB, between the Jan and Feb interview months. I’ve heard of at least 3 more but don’t know them personally.
