The timing of trying to get a flow with 9E while DL is trying to get 35 RJs back is ironic...
Negotiations begin yesterday my friend.

If DALPA decides they no longer care about flow down and would rather work out other avenues, that ends that..

I’d advocate we separate from ALPA. Form our own union, similar to Skywest. ALPA is a racket anyway

Let me know when you can fund that and all the services ALPA provides for less than 1.85%.

I paid around $1700 in dues last year. Multiply that +/- for the entire pilot group and the union gets around 2.5-3 million. That should be plenty considering most positions are “volunteer”?

🤡 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡. If you think ALPA National has our interest in mind you’re a 🤡🤡.

I had a successful white-collar career. I know a racket when I see one.

I think they are interested but it would have to be similar to the CPZ LOA which I can’t see 9E pilots approving (90% of list flush)

We don’t have flow down right now, and a no furlough agreement till Fall of 2022, with the industry having exploding growth. There’s bigger items on the too do list in regards to scope (see JV equitable flying) ...no Delta pilot will lose sleep over 35 RJs not flying at DCI due to scope.

As others have said with Mitsubishi ending CRJ production and Embraer focusing on E2 production, unless some other manufacturer comes along with a 76 seat option that doesn’t violate scope the RJs will slowly go away

One union, supposed to be “solidarity”. Meanwhile, one is is advocating for career progression the other is advocating for financial gains that could jeopardize career progression. How is that not a conflict?!

I completely agree with you, all unions have there agenda. Having flown at 3 regionals, how ALPA isn’t one big conflict of interest blows my mind
