Company ID expires end of month. Because of the need to preserve cash no ship to crew members.
Call Chief pilot offer to pay to have it sent.
Nope can't do it.
This is IMHO a fail by the Company.
For sure there are issues with security and chain of custody...but IT does not have to be this hard.
I am sure lot's of pilot's have not set foot in base in weeks and don't want to commute to get their ID.
Rant over....back to throwing talk about throwing F.O.'s off flight deck's

what a horrible life to have to use one of your 31 days off while on min guarantee you get your ID

I showed up to work with an expired ID and they just made me go through normal security without harassing me over fluids etc. I then proceeded to OPS and picked up my new ID And started my trip 🤷🏼♂️
But yeah I wasn’t going to drive 2 hours or commute to base on my day off, especially right now.

So union email say's this : If your badge expires and your new badge is not available during your last required duty that includes a show time at the airport, please call base management to have your new ID shipped
But if you call base management they say they can't/won't ship?
