Default Covid Craft (Beer) of choice

As I’m sure we have all had some more time off then we expected at the start of 2020 when we are hanging up the uniform and enjoying some rest at home what’s everyone’s craft brew of choice. Just looking to expand a little and see what my fellow colleagues enjoy when sitting back and enjoying some of the simple things in life.

Corona. Cheap and you can find it everywhere... Too soon?

Looking at it now I should have expected that but in the moment I did not. I’d say well played but I basically just spoon fed that one to whomever was ready.

Rain in Blood from Dark Horse in Marshall, MI. This year I had to have the owner of the party store special order it just to make sure he got some. Hard to find this year but well worth it the search.

A couple of old school favorites are Focal Banger and Lawson's Sip of Sunshine.

Been a big fan of some of the stuff coming out of Dixieland lately. Scofflaw Brewing Basement and POG. My go to everyday beer has been Sweetwater IPA even though they are not so “crafty” anymore.

For those with a CLE overnight, the Market Garden Brewery downtown has 24+ craft brews on tap. Prosperity Wheat is a great choice, tastes just like a Blue Moon.

Anything Perrin or Bella is really good. Rochester mills is an up and coming brew feon the Detroit area. Some of their stouts are outstanding.

Anything from BKS Artisan Ales in KC. The most obvious, but played-out, choice in the NE would be Heady. Want an alternative though? Find some Pieces of Eight by Foley Brothers. Just as dank. M-43 from Old Nation (Michigan) is another can’t miss haze bomb.
