The Texan Lawn-Dart, San Antonio Sewer Pipe. It was either a love / hate relationship! I flew cargo with them, somehow stuffing my 6’4” frame into that miniature flight deck. It was fast, powerful, especially when using the AWI for takeoff, but it was a dump truck to handle.

Was flying with a relatively young FO a couple of weeks ago and I was describing bracketing the needle on a NDB so you don't home and his eyes were just glazing over. He never flew a plane with a NDB installed.
Never flew a Metro but I did fly a Merlin 3B. Take all the poor handling traits of the Metro and add to that short coupling and a much shorter wheelbase. Crappy handling in the air without SAS and crappy handling on the ground. Was fast and a climber though.
