I would agree with the above statement!
I rec'd the "Not Selected" email today. My aviation qualifications: 2850 TT, 750 ME, 150 Turbine, CFII, IPC current, ATP - Written done, Part 135/Charter/Corporate experience, Masters Degree, local volunteer service, no failure issues.
Email: "We have reviewed your resume and have carefully considered your qualifications. While your skills are certainly impressive, we have decided to pursue other candidates for this position. Please do not view this as a negative reflections of your skills or abilities, but rather the result of a competitive selection process.
I guess the Regionals must be in a very competitive place at the present time!
Good Luck!

I think my availability date may have hurt my chances, but after seeing your quals, I don't know that it would have made any difference.
I'm at 1510 TT, 700 ME (all part 91), 2 Masters Degrees, and 27+ years on active duty. I have to take some time off in August, so maybe I'll just go take the ATP-CTP course and get the written knocked out.
My guess, they are all focused on the here and now aspect of hiring until things level back out.
Best of luck to all.

Could be an issue of “overly qualified,” with concerns that he wouldn’t be around very long. That’s my best guess. There’s no rational reason for that resume to be turned down otherwise, IMO.
