Comair didn’t have good history with Delta. Or Delta Alpa for that matter. That’s the comparisons I’m referring to. Most people that weren’t part of that era don’t understand the bad blood between the two and only refer to the fact that Delta shut them down.

Many people fail to remember that CA was its own airline at one time completely autonomous from Delta. It’s an apples and oranges in comparison to 9E.

ALPA's hands are tied. This lawsuit was won. ALPA settled out of court and today a portion of your union dues goes to keep the outcome sealed.
You already have flow: apply, interview, get the job, be happy.

There are some inaccuracies in the article. The article makes it appear 2008 is when Ford filed his lawsuit and when the RJDC was created. In actuality, it was 2001. Also, the suit was for 700 million not 1 million.
But the numbers are not important. What you should take away from the article is pilots everywhere have been fighting bad-faith bargaining between airline partners for years. What is happening now is not new.

When Mesaba was negotiating a flow with NWA back in 2006, the senior pilots here wanted a protective status, AND that NWA could only flow back the number of pilots that flowed up. So, NWA was forced to create Compass(newco at the time)to satisfy the requirements by NWALPA. IF the senior pilots at XJ hadn't been dumb ****ing morons, they would be captains at Delta right now.

Hey I don't know what kind of nutjobs you got coming in here hassling you about this flow stuff. At least one of them, Judge something or other is another shyguy type who just trolls around trolling. He started his account 6 days ago or whenever this mess started? Couple things.

How cute. You still can't let go of me. It's been almost 10 years since I left 9E. Let it go. I didn't start any new account, I have no clue who judge something or another is, I have no clue what is going on at EDV, I don't know anything about Delta's flowthroughs or flowbacks, and my give a crap meter on these matters is more broken than the flow meter on the Colonial Pipeline. All I ask is you leave me out of your tirades as you give your varsity speech to what you perceive as junior varsity. Enjoy.

You're right, I had a full time job fair desk there. You shoulda stopped by. Ironic, both you and him moved onto Delta and now hang out with the 9E crowd. Yawn.
