nope

I doubt you so too. I doubt regionals even stay around anymore. Point of them was cheaper labor. Well when you're making as much as a mainline year 1..that defeats the purpose. As for us being next..answer is something will happen. But I could also see that happening be delta saying our brand is far more superior so na we good. Pilots will still come and stay to flow to delta.

That's been the party line. I saw the statement from the MEC on the pilot group. I'm not holding my breath.

What did the statement say? My class date is next month. A massive pay differential is not something I can just ignore.

The statement was given prior to the deal being reached at ENY and PDT, but basically it is too early to determine If the (CA) retention program was working as the company hoped. DL is data driven, and would need time to asses the metrics.

The ENY/PDT deal which occurred less than 24 hours after that statement probably forces hands, maybe not at EDV initially- but it will ripple through the industry.

Essentially what web500sjc said. The MEC wasn't set to negotiate again for another 6-9 months. Who knows if or when EDV will react. I personally don't have high hopes we will see anything soon or a lot of faith in the MEC. That being said if you have a class date with Envoy or Piedmont I'd definitely consider that.

If delta thinks theyre just going to sit back and see what the field looks like in two months i think thats insane. That deal is specifically designed to crush edv. Start losing 100 pilots a month and this is over.

If something isn't done in a month that's exactly what's going to happen. New hires will leave and so will anyone who's at least 1.5 years from flow. If I were to leave edv for envoy after being here almost 3 years and enough time to go as a DEC I could make over 175k my first year and then. 160k my second. That first year includes the DEC bonus.

we're already up to 50+ resignations for June already....we were going to have 100 before this.

Every 200 pilot who's been here less than a year should apply to envoy.

If delta wants to one up AA then the only logical thing is to staple or give all CA Delta senority numbers.

Written in wishful thinking rj lifer

If quality mattered Mesa and Gojet wouldn't still be around

Pilots getting to be too expensive hmmmm I feel like I've heard of a wholly owned having that issue. I wish I could remember what regional. I guess I'll go have some nasty chili on spaghetti to remind me
