New Hire Thread

You'll have to ask the AA WOs what they get.
Flow (LOA 125) pilots are the first 20 in class per month at Delta.
Once the LOA 125 pilots are done or LOA 125 goes away, CAP (this TA) pilots contractually are 50% of Delta hires, up to 20 per month. Delta has the right to take more.

Lol God pilots are the worst
for LITERAL decades we (9EALPA) has been scratching at the surface of career progression for all. Begging, working, bargaining, proving.... And we got it! We literally got everything we've been trying to achieve for the past 10+ years of work. And the first words out of your mouth are.... But but but the kid down the street makes more.
Lol you make more money (by the hour) than any regional pilot in the country. And you're mad that the other guys get more money in the form of handcuffed non-permanent bonuses??? When those bonuses go away I guess you'll just have to go back to being mad about commuter hotels?? Lol
I'm gonna make a bold statement, you're not gonna like it, but it's one my mom told me early on.......
"Just because someone else has something better, it doesn't mean you have something worse"

wow. Someone sure is butt hurt. Yes. It’s great for new hires. And I’m glad we can finally get rid of the orange lanyards. That wasn’t my point. My point was, this has nothing to do with the pilot group and everything to do with the company. They needed this. Why do you think we didn’t have to give up anything? Because they needed it. They don’t care if senior pilots are leaving, and now they will care even less because recruitment just got easier.

I actually think both post above have merit… Being thankful for where we are as a pilot group and having this new agreement and also realizing that the Company/Delta needed it more.. to attract pilots! Just like the flow, should we have turned down the flow because Delta had other motives for giving it to us? I would say no way! So we can see the value and benefit to those that were not covered under the new flow agreement to get this, while at the same time knowing it wasn’t for us! That’s ok that’s business!!! If this doesn’t improve hiring or keep people here then Delta will come back to us to talk some more.. Don’t complain it’s Thanksgiving!!!
