The company is always moving the goal posts in regards to trip quality and productivity. In addition they’re trying to cover a large amount of block hours with less people. The good high block regional segments go to either Skywest or Republic. We get what’s left over. In addition we carry a percentage of extra reserves and aircraft to cover what they can’t. Seasonal bidding challenges are hard to foresee as well. I’ve been here for a long time. And 3 years ago I was bidding very differently than I am now with good success. Today it seems more hit or miss. And to top it off it’s almost impossible for schedule improvement in open time. And drops are not possible. I guess what I’m trying to say is that I’m still trying to figure it out

I mean... That's pretty dramatic....I guess a flow for a FIVE year extension wasn't good enough for you? I'm not even sure how you get to 10 years unless you're just swimming in hyperbole. Expires at the end of 2028.... Not to mention they got the CAP loa clean?? Lol no concessions for a permanent flow? Still have the highest rates in the regional industry?? We've got work to do, but at the end of the day I feel pretty good about what they've accomplished

I’m pretty happy with the work that the union is doing. The thing that makes the PBS challenging are a result of the way Delta chooses to run Endeavor. See my post from yesterday for reference on my perspective. Anyway, I don’t think that the union can do much about any of that. A good question and a good example is how many years has the reserve grid been red? That might be something that the union could address. But improvements there would probably come at a cost.

Yea. Very serious. You're saying our 1% contractual raises are bogus. But what were we contractually owed when we got loa 91? Or the retention bonuses before it? Market forces will drive us up. But they won't drive us down without another BK. In which case... It doesn't matter what your contractual rates are.
