Retention
Any retention rumors floating around? I’ve heard 40k total. 20k to upgrade and 20k once you flow. Pilots that are under protection get the straight 40k payed out over a couple years. Not sure timeframe on that one.
I’ve heard this a few times. Doesn’t mean much

IF that is the current deal, it's insultingly low.

The only way such an awful low number would be thrown around is if they are also giving us a 50%+ pay raise with other contractual gains.
I've never once heard antone say this number. I'm guessing your new thread is to start the discussion and you threw out some clickbait number.
Hopefully the union will actually give us some info this week instead of keeping us in the dark.

If that is the proposed package that will motivate people to leave even quicker. Are any of the other retention plans for other regionals working? Or is trying to retain anyone a lost cause at this point? When you put the pen to the paper and figure out how much you’ll lose out on waiting around, it’s pretty motivating to try to move on. I wouldn’t be surprised if they do as little as possible and just let the operation shrink.

If you’re taking money to stay on 2-3 more years. Keep in mind the roughly 3000ish seniority numbers your giving up given projected hiring at all 3 legacies.
3000 is roughly the current seniority number getting lines at widebodies at United right now.
Food for thought

As a line pilot I don’t get to C tower very often.. But if I had flown with a MEC guy and he told me something I wouldn’t be sharing it here or with anyone…
