Dude, why don't you come back to the delta thread. No one here in the edv thread cares. They came to edv to get to another airline save maybe 2 guys on the whole forum and 200 in the whole company.

Beware Delta management tools like this, they think you are scum and want you to stay right where you are.

Umm... UpsideDown might be a lot of things, but "management tool" and "wanting us to stay right where we are" aren't any of them.

I'm all for discussion but be aware the forums are monitored...
Personally, whenever I hear the word "shortage", I think about salary...if the salary goes high enough, the shortage will go away.
I have also said many times that an inflation hedge such as a Cost of Living Adjustment to our salary scale would be in the interest of all parties since it removes a bit of the kneejerk negotiations that come out of sudden changes in our economy which appear to be getting more unstable rather than dampening out as we have all been led to expect. If our salary scales had the same multiplier that government service employees receive applied, say every quarter, then inflation/deflation/stagflation would be a moot point.
Lastly QOL should be something for everyone and not just the top 20% of the seniority list.

What nine said, I'd put money that upside was on the other side of the table. Shoot and a miss. Except for the part about the retention bonus. Though imaginary, we're still not buying
