No pay bump for previous 121 time for those on property. This was stated by thr union several times. Longevity credit is just to attract qualified new hires.

That’s a crap deal. I’d have been a big NO VOTE, if we had got to vote. Somebody with exactly the same amount of airline experience that I have ends up getting paid more…how is that ok?

And apparently new guys get more vacation too, since I only get half credit…

Probably paid considerably less then you given they would be on the bottom of the seniority list. It's a carrot to poach experienced 121 guys to immediately fly with, or soon fly with, new FO's and get them to 1,000 hours to upgrade. What's your solution?

There’s a solution but DAL and DALPA aren’t ready to do it yet..!! The push to get off the street 121 pilots to come hear will fail. Why would they do that? If any, will be a Small number.. More money? No, a DAL number is the only solution..

The management people are going for what they most need - people who are CA eligible or soon will be that they can bribe to stay around for an extended period. And as regionals start to fail, their lifer CAs (and even some of their lifer FOs) will see a DEC job with bonuses and credit for previous time as a better deal than starting as a year one FO at a major commuting to reserve for the years they have left before hitting 65.

If management doesn’t find a solution to the problem then ultimately the flow is going to be 1500 hr CFI to ULCC to major, because DALPA has been hoping for the demise of regionals since Delta inherited Compass from Northwest. I can’t see them budging an inch.

All regionals eventually will be absorbed so that’s inevitable, DAPLA has bigger things they are going after.. Question is, which Major will do it first.

I wouldn’t bet anything on that you can’t afford to lose…

DAPLA(sic) has bigger things they are going after.
And they’ll get them, but incorporating regionals won’t be one of them. They’ll take the aircraft, for the right price of course.

Question is, which Major will do it first.
Answer:
e. None of the above.
