Oh so they haven’t voted it in yet, I was wondering why we hadn’t gotten an email yet.

I believe the hold up is the Company doesn’t want to pay back pay to pilots that have already left the company and our MEC does.. That’s what he said last night. Let’ your reps know what you think. On APC doesn’t count.

Definitely let the reps know not to hold this thing up . I’m all for any pilots that left after 9/30 to get retro pay but not willing to put at risk 1900 Endeavor Pilots on current property not getting retro pay for 20 to 100 pilots that left to bigger and better things

I'm sure most of us feel the exact same way.

You've got to be kidding me. I really hope this isn't the case. This thing is a gift from Delta management and apparently it pi$sed the mainline boys off so much that it put them over the top on their 99% strike vote. They are talking about this setting a new floor for their negotiations over on the Delta forum. EDV FOs will literally be making more than some Delta newhire 350 FOs. I'm sure management would be happy to let it go down in flames if you guys hesitate or try to make the deal even sweeter if for no other reason than to screw the mainline negotiations over.

For reference, your new hires will be making almost as much as we made as topped out 900 captains at Comair back in the day.

Yeah this guy gets it.

Yep. They're jeopardizing the whole thing over guys who don't even work here. I've already emailed my rep.

I hope they wouldn’t let something so simple hold this up.

I got the same jist from Nick. The TA is being held up/slowed because pilots gone should get retro pay for “services rendered!” It’s a load of nonsense. I have almost zero criticism for what our committee has done here but it sounds like they’re trying to rub the back of some flow pilots/buddies. I received a response from a rep today assuring me that this particular issue will not keep ratification from occurring by the end of November. Personally if I was the company I would tell them to take a hike on this matter!

Default Back pay

Guys, guys, guys, if you watched OAWTC you would have seen, if they get back pay for the ones that left it’ll be great. But regardless of if that happens or not those on sight WILL have retro pay. Just my opinion but those that voted with their feet helped us get mgmt back to the table. The record high attrition was most definitely a factor. The least we could do is TRY to say thank you to them.

Keep this in mind. We (the pilots) WANT this to pass. The company (NEEDS) it to pass. Remember, they came to us on this. They are the ones that said retro if passed by end of November. They need this to pass or we keep losing 100+ pilots a month. So, while the retro for pilots who have left doesn’t help me, I can see why they should still get it. I also don’t think the union would let the deal die over this. Also, keep in mind, the TA could read differently. If more time is needed, they could simply change the language to give retro to Sep 30 anyway.
