Any idea of how many DECs are getting bumped down to FO with the displacements?

Zero. Unless they bid for an F/O position. There is a total of 25 new captain positions available. And I believe they are seat locked? For 12 months? I could be wrong on that.

Displacements undo seat locks. If displaced CAs (or even displaced FOs) want a captain slot, they can have it if their seniority can hold it, regardless of whether there's a vacancy there.

Yes, but with a net positive gain in captain spots, no one is getting downgraded unless they choose to.

Until the next mechanic contract is due and it's used against them (and then Mesaba pilots too) as leverage.... See 2004. Or see CVG and 2005. Then DSM 2007 (And the karma tornado)

I don’t think Endeavor mechanics are even unionized

They were AMFA during the merger but I guess I haven't kept up with things lately.

What's the update here? Do you have firm dates for DTW and ATL closing? Are they being replaced with 700/900 airplanes or is the company just shrinking?

So just going to be Air Wisconsin and Skywest carrying on the legacy of the deuce?

And can’t replace the flying due to scope. And no Captains.
