Default Rip crj-200?

They're allegedly going away by June now. Let the speculation begin whether DTW or ATL is next.

I am hoping for DTW shut down first! Who's going to miss the LAN/MBS/AZO overnights? Not this guy!

I actually do miss LAN and AZO. Kinda wish I could get a few on the 700/900. Not so much MBS, but I miss DAY as well...

I'd second DAY. That wasn't too bad once the kinda-sketchy limo guy got you to the hotel.

I'll also second not missing MBS for a minute.

MBS hotel had a great pizza lunch special if you got there early enough.

CWA is staying. And so are all these other out stations. If the 200 goes away, the 900 will pick up the flying. Or we lose it to Skywest.

Delta already dropped CWA-DTW. Does it really make sense to have a MX base with maybe 1-2 flights a day?

At some point management said they are keeping CWA after the 200’s leave. I’d have to go back through emails to find the exact source though.

There are a whole lot of things that don’t make sense but are done anyway haha.

I believe Mesaba bought that hangar for cash back in the 90s, so the costs to the company are basically zero outside of paying the electric bill. They'll probably keep the MX base there for a good long time...
