Retirement Travel After Changing Regionals?

Suppose a pilot spends 8 years at one Delta/United regional and then leaves and spends 7 years at another Delta/United regional. He then retires. Would he not get any travel privilages because he did not have 10 years of service at the second regional when he retired?

As it stands today that is correct, you get nothing. 15 years of flying Delta tails and zero benefits!

I for one, think that is crap. Especially when the retirement is forced based on Age Discrimination.

Lot of things unfair. You think Pennsylvanias newest Senator-elect could pass a flight physical?

No, but Biden would appoint him to be an A350 CA

Physically, how about mentally?

When the FAA starts enforcing BMI guidelines and blood pressure.
Then we’ll really see a pilot shortage.
