If it ever happened it can’t be a staple but at the same time how could 1600 Endeavor pilots leapfrog over you if it were some type of merge? There are 15,000 Delta pilots . 1600 Endeavor folks being merged in would hardly make a difference in any current Delta pilots life cause they would be bringing all the RJ9 aircraft over with the pilots . Unless current Delta pilots would bid to fly the RJ it would be status quo and over time pilots would bid something different that they could hold . I’m not sure how it would work with 10 to 30 year 9E pilots as far as seniority credit . I know the Union said Delta simply couldn’t afford to just bring the RJ’s over and “dump” all the pilots cause they can’t even staff what they got . That would be a waste of time .

If they did a staple would they just open up the RJ’s for bidding then and everyone just fall In depending on who bids what or just run everything separate for awhile ? Guess it would be interesting .

Wouldn't a merged list potentially mean a 1st year DL pilot fresh over from another regional fall behind a 4 year Endeavor pilot who didn't yet flow? I also remember the US-HP merger some around 2005 and the two pilot groups (who were very adversarial to each other at the time) flew their respective equipment for quite a while before the lists were "integrated" to whatever degree.

The x years is variable.
I know you have bypassed the flow but I think a staple would be beneficial for you

there will be no merged list. It’s staple or nothing. No matter how much the two MECs push this, existing Delta pilots will not stand for a merged list. I’ve met not a single line pilot who believes this is critically necessary (as in this is management’s problem and not one we should be eagerly trying to fix for them) much less wants to allow a SLI. God help the Delta MEC if they push this through with any kind of concession after the success of our new contract.
