Howdy,
After spending some 40 minutes trying to find the correct link/email to submit copies of my new pilot certificate and medical, I thought one of you fine folks might be able to direct me. Thanks, j |

The 15% were willing to loose that income and the company get shutdown. I respect both views. But to casting blame on the 85% for keeping the 15% employed, still getting paid, paying mortgage, car note, kids college, groceries, insurance. Insurance is a huge one!! If you have no leverage then no one can hear you stomping your feet except your dog. It is what it is in the big picture. Here is a question. Would you go to the casino and bet every check you make ? Of course not, to high risk of loosing it all. That's where the 85% stood. Again not slamming the 15% but the 85% is not the problem. Pilot demand and leverage is. I feel that will be turning towards the Pilots advantage soon. In the end take care of your family and your home. |

How so? That turd is locked in for 7 years. The only leverage is to do what the 15% suggested, shut the biotch down and go somewhere else.

The Hell if they did! there are aircraft still parked because they dont have adequate staffing to fly them... Delta did not have anyone waiting in the wings to take our flying period. Not one other carrier had staffing to accommodate the additional flying that would have been on the block.
The Ol' comair story is and was not applicable, it took delta a decade to wind them down and in the end they had 30 airframes. I can give a crap if one pilot voted one way then the other, thats the democracy of the vote. What ticks me off is when a pilot says they voted yes and continues to p*** and moan about it... go F### yourselves you made the bed so sleep in it! |

Sometimes in poker you have to call their bluff. I voted to see their hand

For those that care, I got my answer (thank you to those that provided it).
You are now free to go on debating how bad we all are (Please call me a bottom feeder, the bottom in me wants be be whipped). |

In case you get a shot at the majors or you decide to seek a refund from your accredited university, it's lose and losing. Loose is a different word that you are not intending to use. Loosing is not even a word. Best of luck. Luv |

Did Mgt have "all" the flying covered in 12 mos? I don't know nor do I care anymore, that is in the past and cannot be changed. What is wrong is that the Union is still trying to coddle Mgt because of the worthless SSP.. I don't like it when our fearless leader Whinechor stands up in the schoolhouse and repeats the same story over and over ending up with "we should wear our hats and do so proudly" I would like to hear, Yes we have a really poor contract but this our strategy and goals to improve our future..... Your last question to me has to do with the Q400's, I tend to believe United had a little insight when it came back and offers a what do you need to continue operations contract. They still have aircraft parked because other airlines are unable to staff the program. You can currently look at Eagle, Republic air group, Skywest and other regionals to see if they are having troubles with filling their classes.. The answer is yes they are having troubles finding qualified pilots.. Ie pilots without criminal or disciplinary issues. |
oops, spell checker just went inop.
