Endeavor (9E) interviews and offers?

Alright folks, rumor at the company by some (source management) states that a good about of people, approx. 100, have been interviewed and 50 have passed the interview thus been offered a job.

Im calling BS on this one as possible propaganda by management.

So lets hear ((ONLY)) from those who have interviewed, those that have been offered a class, and those that actually plan to attend that class.

Please provide background too......And for comical relief, tell us what the company is promising newcomers pertaining to quick upgrade, bases, and working conditions or any other promise made to get you to bite the hook!

There are only 3 new hires that are suppose to start class shortly...as in next week. Let's see how many show up out of that 3. One new hire being the son of a current pilot.

The latest flight ops memo that came out about an hour ago says that they had 8 interview this week and offered six jobs. All six accepted. I'm not sure about the total numbers seeing that they just started to interview. I highly doubt 100.

Who is accepting a job at that 3-way train wreck? Everyone there is trying to leave. Why not regionals that actually have some movement (eg Compass).

I had a message asking me to call back and schedule an interview. I have not called back.

I wonder if 20 years from now you'll still be going on about 9e. At what point do you let it go?

Did a flight attendant of the male variety spurn your advances while you were at 9E? You really seem to have an unhealthy vendetta. Remember that this airline you talk so much worthless garbage on is responsible for the livelihood of 4,000+ employees and their families.
I forgot that you fly an Airbus for a company with the worst financial performance in its segment of the industry. Did they include a taqiyah with your new Banana Republic designed uniform? Please wear that the next time your hang around elevators to 9E crew rooms, I'm sure you look like quite the fool wearing it.

I must be the only person that doesn't actually know who Shyguy is, so....
He does make a very valid point. Why would ANYONE in their right mind take a job at 9E today?

If you just graduated college and are currently flight instructing, turbine time, 121 time, multi-crew, glass, and also the fact that poorly paying regional airlines have a huge turnover rate. In the last year I moved 400 numbers. Keep in mind that this was without Delta, American, and Southwest hiring. I could see another 400-500 leaving next year. So with all of those factors added plus a possible upgrade in 2 to 3 years it doesn't seem like an outrageous choice to me.
If you don't have a degree and lack motivation to move on to a major, then go for the best of the best regional out there and make an additional 5 dollars an hour.

Good gawd. Some of you just don't see it, damn!

Guys, majors hiring in the next few years IS NOT the saving grace for 9E pilot group. It's simple math, if guys get picked up by a major and our fleet remains the same then yes, there is movement, but if at the same time you slash the fleet in half you got jack squat!! As of now 9E is scheduled to lose airframes, period.

Doesn't matter how you cut it, based on facts and facts alone, there is no way there can be any good movement for 9E as things stand now.

Now, if you wanna go ahead and guess or speculate about the future and the "carrots" that management and union dangle then have at it.
