Why? Any new hire who applies will be hired. I have to laugh. They are having a hard time finding applicants so the solution is to make the interview harder? We all know the interview being harder is smoke and mirrors. This is a flat out flow up with no flow down provision. I will say it's different as it's only offered to new hires though. That's unusual. How do the current Endeavor pilots feel about this?

To that end, Delta and Endeavor today will announce the Endeavor-to-Delta Pilot Hiring and Commitment program (EtD Commitment) for prospective Endeavor pilots.
Delta will continue hiring the most competitive and highly qualified pilots in the industry. With this unique hiring program, Endeavor will now be able to attract those same candidates at earlier points in their career. Delta will directly benefit from this program by having a pool of future pilots who have been selected and trained to our high standards, have demonstrated performance, gained experience at Endeavor and have a clear understanding of the Delta brand.

It's not said very clearly by the OP so just so I understand it correctly; The new plan is to give NEW hire pilots flow rights but NOT to offer that opportunity for pilots CURRENTLY on property??? Did I get that right?

8. Are current Endeavor pilots eligible for the EtD Commitment?
No. Current Endeavor pilots were not hired under the EtD Commitment protocol and Delta was not involved in their hiring. Current Endeavor pilots are instead eligible for the Streamlined Selection Process (SSP) and will be offered an opportunity to interview with Delta before any pilot in the EtD Commitment is “called up.” Should a current Endeavor pilot be unsuccessful in applying with Delta, s/he will continue flying with Endeavor whereas if a pilot is not selected under the EtD Commitment, s/he will not be hired at Endeavor.
Delta and Endeavor have also agreed to the provide current Endeavor pilots hired after the Bridge Agreement and prior to the EtD Commitment implementation with the same seniority-order SSP interview opportunity as other Endeavor pilots. These pilots will now have a similar opportunity to compete for a Delta job as SSP pilots..
Yes AB, you read it correctly

Just another way to suppress pilot pay. Delta has no trouble hiring qualified candidates. Regional's, however, are having a harder and harder time paying peanuts for pilots. So, do they offer more pay? No, they offer the possibility of future pay.

Something smells fishy here. This is not the typical Delta I've come to know over the past 7 years of flying DCI. They don't ever claim that a DCI carrier "trains to their standards", they can't prove that these new pilots are "demonstrating performance", nor have they ever cared about any DCI pilot having a "clear understanding of the Delta brand". I don't get it. Is Delta getting desperate?
They are getting desperate to fill the seats at their ultra cheap feed.
