New pass travel standby priority for employees
June 17, 2014

As Delta continues to reevaluate its pass travel program and enhance employees pass travel privileges, the airline will introduce a new travel standby priority for employees effective Oct. 1.

All active Delta employees who travel standby on SkyWest- or ExpressJet-operated flights will be listed under a higher priority code - S3B1 instead of S3C.

This enhancement will allow active Delta employees and their pass riders to board after SkyWest or ExpressJet employees and before all other Delta subsidiary employees on SkyWest- or ExpressJet-operated flights.

That is a step in the right direction. We should be S3. Btw, shyguy. How do you have access to deltanet still and our internal communications? Do you access it through a friend or relatives employee number?

No, found on another forum. Technically, it's a Delta Connection plane and not a Delta Air Lines mainline. Arguably one could easily say that DCI should have priority on other DCI and obviously mainline should have priority over mainline.

What do you care anyway? Aren't you at JetBlue or Virgin? You just trying to stir up the natives? Considering that Delta actually pays the regionals for every last seat in the plane, I'd argue that it is indeed Delta's airplane. They get to deside who gets on.

What does this have to do with 9E?

Nothing. SkyWest employees, parents, dependents, and retirees will still bump mainline active employees on SkyWest metal. The only thing that changes is that mainline will now bump every other regional partner that used to be grouped into S3C on OO flights.

I'm not a lawyer nor do I pretend to understand all the contracts between Delta and their numerous contractors. However, if you are going to argue that it is Delta's airplane then let's just put Delta pilots in the damn plane and call it a day. This shell moving game Delta plays with everyone is ridiculous and if they don't end it soon I hope it backfires on them and they have to pay dearly.

WHat I'm saying is that Delta has essentially chartered all the seats on the airplane to resell to their customers. That is what makes it their airplane. Not that they physically own it.

And it is not being flown by a Delta pilot? Please tell me you are ashamed of this fact. That is the very definition of union failure.
