Agree 100%. There's value in having a pilot group that performs well, and it's clear Delta values performance. From what I've been told from an excellent source, the ALPA proposal is for a no loss of pay transition from bonus to pay rates, some pre bankruptcy perks reinstated, and other benefits such as hotels, 401k, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if this isn't finalized until summer time since it sounds like it will be pretty significant contract changes. Great things coming in 2017 for the pilot group, let's keep up the great performance!

Explain to us how $25.56 is a pay raise please?

It amazing I care less and less every day about this issue, but if you keep holding out for this 25.56 (which is a pay raise), Delta may shrug you off. When the bonus ends theyll have a great excuse to suddenly park the 200s. They already know this pilots group of 9yrs or more are fine with the lower pay. After all we took it in 2013-2014 while almost half the company left. Now you'll have bankruptcy rates and time and a half pickups at 150%. Woohoo

$23k retention is temporary compensation which expires in 23 months.

$25.56 makes it legally binding compensation. Not to mention 401k matching.

Ummm, ok, that's one way to look at it, but a very foolish way, and management should know far better than to try that.

401K matching is a joke here, even if you put the pay rate up $25.56 as it must be to keep us moving ahead.

Yes, you first!

Since the AA wholly owneds upped the ante, I've lost three referrals that had class dates here and left before day one. I also know another guy that's been here about a year and left for Envoy. With the happenings at Air Wisconsin and ASA, we're drawing a lot of them. What happens when that pool dries up. Delta seems happy to grow us as long as we can staff. What carrot will be next?
