The big one for me is an average of 2 more days off a month on the 900.

But what about smugness? Can't I be more smug if I fly the 200 and say 900 guys are too pampered?

You can, and it made sense when it was 340 vs 900, now it's just silly. The 900 is senior for a reason, it is better.

Honestly if you are a commuter to NYC and want to change to ATL, 900-200, you're taking a pay cut and probably having a tougher commute. I don't see many senior people doing that especially with a brand new base that may not have the best lines.

Not everywhere, 900 is less senior for FO's in DTW, don't ask me how I know.... or you can look at the seniority on the line reports.

Yes but at what cost? In both seats it usually means a lot more reserve. For new hires upgrading it will mean at least a year of reserve even at a junior base.

Absolutely. And as an FO, I can afford to pack or buy a meal that far exceeds the quality of an airline leftover meal. And I don't really mind the lack of automation on the 200, as I prefer to hand fly as much as I can anyway.

The 900 might be better, but the 200 pays more double pay and pays way more to those who like work. At least since 2016 to present. And to me, that makes the 200 better.
