My recruiting pal says one of the guy's flight was delayed getting to MSP, so he was supposed to start today. With the 31 that started earlier in the month, that's 56-57 new hires for the month. I'd say we're still doing just fine on the recruiting front.

They may have pulled back a bit, but my guys says recruiting is seeing a lot of interest. 60+ interviews in the next three weeks alone.

Why do you say they would need to pull back?

What's our current attrition and how many pilots do we need to grow per month to staff on average 1 plane a month? Even if attrition is 40/month, hiring 55/month is more than is needed to staff a single airplane a month.

All joking aside I think we're in a good spot. From a employee stand point it's frustrating when a company doesn't keep employees in the loop. This applies to all jobs... whether it's aviation related or not. I have the belief employees should be treated as stakeholders.

From a management standpoint I sgeee you don't want to give false information, nor do you want to give information that could hurt the bottom line. Updates would be appreciated though.

I believe this is for people already on line and chose the ship to your house method. In training probably different.
