I see a hefty reduction in MSP for April. Departures go from 835 (MAR) to 584 (APR) on the CM9, a drop of 30%. The CPJ will go from 930 (MAR) to 638 (APR), a drop of about 31%.
JFK CM9 goes up from 1468 to 1530 while CPJ drops from 794 from 577 (28%)
DTW CM9 drops 794 to 626, CPJ drops 1504 to 1435.
LGA CM9 goes up from 1740 to 1940, CPJ drops slightly from 590 to 526.
From this I deduce that MSP CM9 crews will see more NYC flying while MSP and JFK CPJ crews pick up ATL (from 0 to 459) and a brief lift on CVG and RDU CPJ flying.
That is all.

Will the the reductions put more people on reserve? Or will it not have much effect if crews are doing ATL flying?

It seems very similar to the months leading up to the LGA/JFK 200 announcement and base opening. We do a lot of trips "through" those bases and then it turns into a movement of pilots there. After which lines start there, numbers reduce at the other bases, and everything evens out. So for now, yes, we cover it through other bases. But once it opens they will staff it like they have with LGA/JFK. Which means a possible reduction of other bases. I think that will mainly come from LGA/JFK. DTW seems like it has shrank as much as it will.

Just a SWAG, but I'd say not really. Not many senior 900 guys will do the move, that leaves current ATL 200 guys, not sure how many, but I know 3 or 4, and a few junior CAs.
