Wonder what the reasoning is for all the upgrade requirement memos? Is the company expecting captain awards to go very junior or something?

If any of the 50 pilots who haven't done the EFB LMS are reading this... please go do it this weekend.

Possibly, it probably has to do with a few things, they wanna get a sense of where their company is sitting in terms of first officers and their time, so they can adjust vacancies in the future, maybe so their isn't unfilles positions like the last couple that have came out or so they can properly plan how they wanna fill out Atlanta or secondary vacancies in the future as the base grows. It was probably more so a survey rather than a form to fill spots.

There are 19 flights per weekday from DTW to LGA/JFK.

Commuting sucks no doubt about it, but if it means your happier and you have a better QOL, then it's negligible.

The DTW and MSP people are good folks. It sucks to see your base withering before your eyes.

My hunch has always been the number of airplanes coming to the company is probably what they think they can staff without doing true steet captains, and these forms help them figure out where they stand on that

TW just sent out an email outing the pilots by name. The pitchfork emporium is open for business.

This is one of the reasons I hate to hear people say they're not leaving, especially the senior group. I understand being close to retirement and not wanting to start over as well as not wanting to take a QOL hit but depending on where you are here at 9E you may be getting screwed anyway. As long as DL is paying the bills they can move us anywhere they want. It's just like hiring someone to remodel your kitchen. If you get halfway through the project and want to change the whole plan then that's what you expect them to do since you're paying the bills.

The original date was 3/17 to complete the lms for efbs. If they wanted it done by this weekend then that should have been the date.

The 17th is what I remember it being too. Kind of unprofessional if you ask me especially putting people people on blast, just my opinion. Why not just set the due date to this weekend from the beginning.

Stop making so much sense.

This whole process has been an mess of constantly moving goalposts.
