Why? we'll it's important to most of us pilots to get rid of paper and the FAA is giving us an opportunity to do it sooner than they wanted it originally. It's easy for us to criticize on here how it was implemented but most of us have no clue what goes on behind the scenes, FAA, Daddy D etc. Let's get this done so we can stop doing these revisions and carrying 30 lbs of extra weight. I also don't think we should be critical of those waiting to the last minute, just should encourage them nicely!!!!
I'll be critical! Get the sh!t done already! Don't sink our ship because you're too damn lazy! Please !!!!!!! just think of us all and not yourself tomorrow !

21 TDYs out of LGA on the 200 for April, but the vacancy has 30 openings to move in. Is the NYC growing over or isn't it?

I have a feeling there will be a lot of TDY opportunities for 200 FOs in JFK and LGA for the rest of 2017.

Anyone that didn't complete their LMS has to carry the other crew members chart case and do their revision until we're paperless

Good call. I understand the lack of LMS motivation. However, when it comes to EFB progress, I thought this pilot group would complete the required curriculum immediately! We are the select few walking in the terminal with oversized lunchboxes.

Default Not to rain on the parade

The deadline for the ADS-B mod is 1Jan2020. None of the 200s are compliant. Delta previously authorized $60k/200 ($42 million for 53 200s) to comply with the mod. The mod needs to get done during a heavy check teardown or it becomes even more costly. As we speak, not one aircraft has had the mod done. I am only going to get so excited about ATL and a bunch of flying biscuit 200s from XJT that pumpkin on 31Dec2019.

Until we have aircraft that don't need a heavy check done until after 1 Jan 2020, I'm not worried...

Less than 3 years to do 50+ heavy checks? You should buy those worry beads tomorrow.
