Edit: I would say 50-60% of the guys I've flown with sub 500 seniority have Delta CJOs or are trying to move on to other carriers still. Your top 300-350 are NOT going anywhere. Ever.

I think upgrade time will increase. Huge hiring way that Endeavor started in the summer and fall of 2015 will see those pilots starting to hit 1000 hours. We should have 30 to 40 people hitting 1000 hours each month for the next year and a half. Don't come here now and get caught on the backside of the upgrade wave. Pick an American carrier that's an easy commute and go there for the career progression. Endeavor is a great company but I wouldn't come here as a new hire now with what AA Wo offer in career progression.

Is anyone else finding it disturbing that the union is trying to fund a pay raise for the top end, on the backs of the junior pilots. Their solution is for reserve pilots to pick up open time to fund the difference. Yeah, I'm sure those guys want 8 days off a month.

As an over 55+ guy, previous 121 PIC time, 9E is appealing to me mainly because of the new base which is driving distance and the fairly quick upgrade. Flow at AA is not really a consideration for me, although PSA base is also a drive away. So it's going to be a toss up between the two, followed by RAH. OTS hire at a legacy or LCC such as WN or F9 would be even better.

It would be foolish not to accept the company's proposal. The majority of the high credit average comes from OE buyouts. This is not a FO vs CA issue, it is a junior vs senior in position issue. If I could bid for 17 days off a month, and all trips with LCA for 120+ credit a month, I would. A reserve pilot who commutes, only gets 11 days off, with 82 credit a month.
