There would be zero reason to transfer planes between certificates if you were going to merge them shortly after that was done.

Pretty sure expressjet needs to finish their merger first for that to ever happen. And they won't ever finish theirs so this rumor needs to die cause it'll never happen. Would be redundant in cost too. Why waste money opening ATL, transferring airplanes, and having Expressjet open LGA only to merge. Won't happen.

From the mx side.. I know EV is having to answer to Daddy D about the state of their aircraft.. When they have been going through acceptance check to 9E and we find 300+ discrepancies per aircraft... word is Daddy D is asking EV to account for the monies allotted for mx to their fleet... The EV contract with daddy D is up this year and GoJets is up next spring.. what happens with their aircraft... wait and see

Exactly....I heard the budget for each aircraft to get it up to specs is going insanely over what was planned. If I were delta and this happened to me I'd be ****ed...but skywest is the golden child can do no wrong and delta treats them very differently than other regionals...what skywest wants they get....cry cry cry can't handle NYC...give us DTW...delta gives them DTW.

One thing is for sure though.....none of us know what's in store for the next two years. Pretty much sucks we are recieving planes from another regional. The whipsaw shall rebound young ones.
